On Saturday June 24th, 2017, the Lost World will throw open a selection of its farm gates, kicking off the Scenic Rim’s Eat Local Week. The Lost World’s intimate Farm Gate Festival is the perfect low-key opportunity to taste and explore your way around this wilderness region, only 90 minutes drive from Brisbane and Gold Coast. Discover the workings of the farm; sample or buy fresh local produce, taste amazing local food. There is something for all ages!

tommerup's dairy farm

It’s a Paddock to Plate journey of discovery and fun on Tommerup’s Dairy Farm as they swing open the farm gates to visitors on their 6th generation working dairy farm. It's a backstage pass to their family farm - meet the farmers, see the cows be milked, feed farm animals, take guided tours, browse market stalls and enjoy a farmer’s feast, with products fresh from the farm and other local producers.
Moo to You begins at 7am and lets you immerse yourself in all things Dairy. If a little later start is more your style, why not join them for Farm to Fork from 10am. Enjoy a day in the country soaking up all that this historic farming property has to offer.
The Farm Cafe will have breakfast, lunch and snacks available featuring produce fresh from the farm and delicious local flavours. Be sure to bring along your esky to take home Tommerup’s ethically raised pork, veal and lamb as well as stunning local produce and products from local producers.

* Feel like a bit of FUN with a little exercise!! Join our 1 hour session with our very talented Mika 'Hula Hooping' Mika loves spreading her unique hula hooping style to both kids and adults. In her 1-hour workshop, you will learn one of her favorite hoop-dancing routines. This includes hoop weaves, isolation's, jump, spin and folds as well as belly dancing moves. Once you feel confident with the set of movements, you will be welcome to join a small group performance. This will make sure you are ready to dance in your hula hoop anywhere at any time, no matter who is watching. Hula Hoops will be provided, but make sure you bring along a good dose of motivation and comfortable or minimal clothing for freedom of movement!! Workshops start at 10 am, 11.30 am, 1 pm.Special offer: $5 per person. Hula Hoops will be available for sale. Limited numbers. Booking Required.
